Greg graduated from Purdue University with a Master's degree in Nursing as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. He became a Paramedic in 1983, an RN in 1996, worked in ICUs and ERs, and did Critical Care ground transports for 14 years. Greg was born and raised in Iowa where the family farmed for years. He joined the Air Force initially and after several years of flying on fixed-wing aircraft and his first combat deployment for Desert Storm, transferred to the Army where he flew on Blackhawk helicopters and experienced 3 combat tours in Iraq he remained with his unit until his retirement in 2015.
Greg has 3 biological children, 2 step-children, and 5 grandchildren.
He later moved to Columbia in 2015 from Upstate NY where he lived for 14 years and married his wife Gina Pounds for 19 years to date.
Amia is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in clinical practice and leadership. Currently serving as the Practice Director at Bella Clinical Care, Amia brings a wealth of expertise in managing healthcare operations, implementing quality improvement initiatives, and fostering a patient-centric culture.
With a passion for delivering high-quality care, Amia has demonstrated her commitment to excellence through her strategic planning skills and innovative approach to healthcare management. Her collaborative leadership style and dedication to staff development have earned her respect among colleagues and peers alike.
Shaquana is the CEO of Premiere Business Pursuits and a member of its board of directors. Hailing from Ohio, she has a passion for literature, finding solace in both reading and writing short stories. With a collaborative spirit, Shaquana has co-authored two anthologies. Beyond her literary pursuits, she is deeply rooted in family life as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, while also nurturing her entrepreneurial spirit.
In 2003, Shaquana founded Herbal Scents LLC, an aromatherapy company dedicated to utilizing essential oils to address health concerns such as anxiety, stress, and sleep disorders. Her commitment to holistic wellness led her to sign a contract with The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities in 2008, where she became a licensed independent provider offering a range of supportive services including supported living, HPC transportation, adult foster care, informal respite, homemaker, and personal care services.
Relocating to Columbia, South Carolina in 2010, Shaquana expanded her educational horizons, studying Criminal Justice at ITT and earning an Associate of Science degree. She furthered her academic pursuits with a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies from Kaplan University. Throughout her journey, Shaquana has acquired an array of certifications including Phlebotomy, EKG Cardiac Specialist, IV Therapy, and PCT Certifications.
Driven by a desire to make a difference in mental health advocacy, Shaquana returned to academia, pursuing studies in Mental Health at Walden University after experiencing life-changing events. Today, she serves as a volunteer board member and mentor for Bella Clinical Care, offering her expertise and support to those in need.
